Tools of the Trade

• Previous experience operating metal fabrication or sheet metal equipment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, measurements, and production specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience using measuring tools and templates
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Your Role on the Floor

• Operate metal fabrication equipment including cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, punch machines, forming machines, and spinning machines
• Cut, shape, bend, and form metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structural components
• Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
• Adjust machine settings and tooling based on material and production requirements
• Position stops, guides, and fixtures using scales, templates, and measuring tools
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain production efficiency while following safety and quality standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance as needed
• Keep work areas clean and organized
