Infrastructure Engineer III (Onsite - Full-Time) Location: Onsite Salary: $100K-$120K Overview We are looking for a senior-level Infrastructure Engineer (L3) who can operate independently, support complex multi-site environments, and take ownership of infrastructure stability, performance, and scalability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving enterprise-level challenges across networking, systems, and infrastructure. Top Skills & Experience 1. Infrastructure Engineering (senior* / L3)* * 7+ years of infrastructure experience * Ability to operate independently and handle L3 escalations * Experience supporting: * Corporate environments * Distributed/multi-site environments 2. Networking (Core Requirement) Technology: * Cisco / Meraki * VOIP systems * Enterprise networking fundamentals What You'll Do: * Troubleshoot connectivity across multiple locations * Support infrastructure across distributed environments * Travel between sites as needed 3. Systems & Server Administration Core Technologies: * Windows Server * Linux * VMware * SQL * Exchange Responsibilities: * Deploy, maintain, and optimize systems * Perform performance tuning and upgrades * Manage patching and lifecycle processes 4. Monitoring, Performance & Reliability * Utilize tools like SolarWinds (or similar) * Own system monitoring and alerting * Drive performance optimization and proactive issue prevention * Ensure high availability across environments 5. Security & Infrastructure Governance * Conduct security audits and reviews * Manage disaster recovery and backup strategies * Implement infrastructure hardening best practices Key Responsibilities * Lead infrastructure deployment, support, and maintenance initiatives * Design and implement network, server, application, and voice solutions * Ensure high availability of critical systems * Partner with stakeholders to define business and system requirements * Improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency * Perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis for infrastructure investments * Support vendor relationships and solution delivery * Maintain documentation, standards, and processes * Monitor system performance and support end-user enablement Qualifications * 7+ years of infrastructure experience * Strong understanding of enterprise networking and systems * Proven experience with system implementation, maintenance, and optimization * Experience with virtualization, server management, and monitoring tools * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills Nice-to-Have Skills * Kubernetes / containerization * Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Automation / scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) * Active Directory & directory services * Backup/recovery tooling * ERP exposure (Workday experience a plus) * Experience supporting multi-site environments Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
