Overview: We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support and troubleshooting for end users. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and experience supporting users in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide phone-based technical support to end users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues * Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring problems * Document incidents, resolutions, and processes within the ticketing system * Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary * Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-up Required Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years of phone-based technical support experience * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook, with strong overall Microsoft Office skills * Exceptional customer service and communication abilities * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis * Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: * Experience working in a help desk or IT support environment * Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes Key Competencies: * Customer-first mindset * Strong attention to detail * Problem-solving and critical thinking * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
