As a Security Officer Entry Check Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and communications location as an Access Control Officer. In this driving post, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through a visible presence and professional communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and credential checks to help control authorized access to the location, while documenting visitor activity and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured entry points, and other security-related issues.
• Support a professional environment by answering questions, giving directions, and communicating clearly with employees, guests, and/or contractors regarding entry requirements and site rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
