Basic Job Functions:

The Talent Management and Learning Specialist II will partner closely with the Talent Management and Learning Manager, Talent & Development team and business partners to craft, analyze, and evaluate Talent Management and Learning programs that align with the company's goals and values. This role will execute, manage and measure effectiveness of talent programs; partner and collaborate with talent team, HR business partners and business leaders to assist in the development and implementation programs and processes; and operates as a functional contact of talent management programs/processes.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • PHR, SHRM - CP, Training Certification or CPTD preferred
  • Experience in Talent Management or Learning initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Manufacturing and global organization experience preferred

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficient technical knowledge and practical experience in Talent Management and Learning, including performance management, succession planning, career development, skills/competencies, and talent reviews processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks; time management skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Learning Management Systems
  • Strong Attention to detail; demonstrate consistent follow-through on tasks
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving
  • Intellectually curious; asks questions and has a continuous improvement/ learning mindset
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel-advanced, and PowerPoint)

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development and delivery of Talent Management and Learning programs that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Partner collaboratively with cross-functional global teams, HR Business Partners, Operation Leaders and Centers of Excellence to execute talent strategies and programs supporting enterprise initiatives
  • Assist in designing and executing the Talent Management cycle of performance management, talent review processes, succession planning, career development, and leadership development
  • Develop and implement assessments and metrics that evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Talent programs
  • Ensure appropriate technology supports Talent Management and Learning programs
  • Competent in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other Learning Technologies
  • Assist with training and development activities
  • Drive process and system enhancements; self-service, automation, efficiencies and insightful reporting; develop test plans and execute testing
  • Create and research new and innovative approaches of activities that optimize the function's/business performance
  • Serve as an effective and successful change agent
  • Develop and curate content; maintain relevant intranet sites; keep content fresh and accurate
  • Perform analytical work to assess effectiveness of programs, monitor adoption, identify trends in HR data, and make predictions
  • Actively research industry trends and benchmark successful programs

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to the Talent Management and Learning Manager
  • This position will not have direct reports.

Travel:

  • 0% - 5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)

Estimated Salary Range:

  • $62,500-$89,000 / annually
