The Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinical-Educator Track at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include direct emergency care, participation in the supervision and training of medical students, paramedic and physician assistant students, advanced practice nurses, residents (pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family medicine), and PEM fellows.

Qualified candidates will have their MD or DO and should be board certified in pediatrics, have completed a PEM fellowship, and should hold, or be eligible to sit for, board certification in PEM.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $236,000 - $311,000.

Lurie Children's Hospital and Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.

This position is located at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, however, applications must be submitted online through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
