Responsibilities The faculty responsibilities are divided into teaching, service, and scholarly activities. All faculty are expected to participate effectively in all three areas. These responsibilities are further explained below: Teaching:

Qualifications An earned Master's-level degree ( e.g., M.S., M.A.) in educational, biomedical (e.g., microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics), or a related discipline (e.g., pharmacology) with documented teaching experience is preferred. Candidates with or on a path towards a terminal degree (e.g., Ed.D., Ph.D., DO, MD, Pharm. D.) and documented experience in medical education will also be considered. Evidence of ability or potential to conduct scholarly activity in medical education, or health policy/public health, ability to mentor students, and excellent interpersonal, team, and collaborative skills are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with documented teaching experience and a scholarly record emphasizing medical education, or health policy/public health.
