About This Position Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: Monday (7:30am - Until done), Tuesday & Friday (6:15am - Until done), Wednesday (1:30pm - Until done), Thursday (11:00am - Until done) *This position would be operating a box truck and delivering commissary orders to a jail/correctional facility.* This position is at most 30% driving. Other tasks would be delivering commissary orders inmates and filling vending machines. The Commissary Operations Team Member/Delivery Driver maintains and safely operates a delivery vehicle for transporting commissary orders to specified KCN commissary personnel and locations. This position also assists in the loading and unloading of commissary orders at the designated pick-up and drop-off locations, ensuring orders are properly loaded and secured. The Delivery Driver will also assist the commissary team at the jail with handing out orders to inmates. Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure orders have been properly signed for and released to approved KCN employees only Maintain all paperwork/documentation on all inventory shipped Report any discrepancies or incidents related to product delivery or equipment malfunctions/damages Maintain required driving laws Conduct general and preventative maintenance, refueling, and cleaning on delivery vehicle to ensure proper, clean and safe drivability Maintain all proper forms, certifications, and requirements to remain in acceptable standing with OSHA and DOT Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace This position would be handing out orders to inmates within the Sarasota Jail as well as delivering products to other locations while operating a box truck. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business Fast-paced working environment Driver will be delivering to 3 jails a week Must have experience with operating a box truck Pay: Hourly pay, every Thursday What You'll Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
