The UMKC Conservatory Academy Summer Programs are looking for Overnight Chaperones for our youth camps. Overnight Chaperones will be responsible for the below:

• Walking students to and from on-campus housing to the building hosting each camp.
• Overseeing breakfast, lunch and dinner for students staying on campus and walking students to the Foodiverse.
• Managing each camp's daily check-in and check-out.
• Planning and hosting evening activities
• Ensuring all protection of minors policies and procedures are being followed and enforced outside of camp meeting times.

This is a temporary position that will last from May 31, 2026 - July 3, 2026. Hours may vary week to week based on camp sessions.

• Experience in performing arts (music or dance preferred)
• Experience as a private teacher, classroom teacher, or camp staff.
• Has or is in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in performing arts or education

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17 per hour.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
