Schedule:Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends)

Here's what we're looking for.

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active state licensure to practice optometry in Alabama
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including vision testing and refractions.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with optical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and clinical best practices.
