Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Administrative professional supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I). The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. Responsibilities
Program and Mission Management Support:
- Provide National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) programmatic analysis support for the development of the fiscal year NLCC Program Tracking Report (PTR)
- Provide advisory and assistance support to the NEC NC3 Enterprise senior stakeholder meeting and decision forums (i.e. Systems Engineering and Authorities (SEA) Board Steering Committee; work entails meeting scheduling, inputs to meeting agendas, automate tracking and maintaining status for action items, participation/presentation of briefings as required and preparation of meeting minutes, meeting coordination, documenting, and tracking actions items and after-action reports
- Maintain, update, coordinate, and publish multi-set of manuals, SOPs and other documents
- Assist the NEC SE&I Division to accomplish the priorities of the NEC by proposing and facilitating execution of strategic communications plan, improving workforce readiness, improving business processes, and tracking products delivery
- Advise and assist the annual strategic plan, support the development of the division work plan and ensure alignment to the NEC SE&I Division's story to the NEC and STRATCOM priorities
- The contractor shall produce a comprehensive report that provides an overview of the NEC SE&I Division's achievements and key metrics from the preceding year
- Develop and maintain a modern, interactive, comprehensive, technically accurate, grammatically correct, and user friendly, National Military Command System (NMCS) Reference Guide (NRG) in support NMCS and NLCC community stakeholders
- Support internal division workshops including content development, event coordination, disseminating all electronic and printed communication needed for the event and event facilitation Strategic communication materials produced shall include SE&I branding and documentation (i.e., slick sheets, trifolds etc.)
- Provide executive level, administrative and business management support to the Chief(s), Systems Engineering and Integrations Division; this shall include, in part, the consolidation and editing of standard reports i.e. Weekly Activity Reports (WAR), Taskers, calendar management, VIP in/out processing, meeting set-up (to include reserving conference rooms), etc.
- Provide Knowledge Management support by updating and conducting routing maintenance to the NC3 Enterprise Center collaborative information sharing environment (i.e. GOTS provided Microsoft Intelink SharePoint site) for NC3 and NLCC community stakeholders
- Serve as process improvement subject matter experts; reviews all existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analyze areas of improvement and document updated processes.
- Identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement within the division and document as-is and to-be processes
- Participates in division- wide meetings and off-sites; facilitates sessions and instruct SE&I leadership and project leads on continuous improvement methods and tools (i.e., Kaizen Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Mapping)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibility Education: BS or BA degree in one of the following: Business Management, Communications, Administrative Management, or an educational equivalent. Years of Experience: 10 years experience
- Providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, performing office management tasks (i.e., supply stock maintenance) and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
Additional Experience: NC3 or adjacent domain experience Additional Information Location: Fort Meade, onsite 5 days/week
Pay Range
USD $98,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
