The Nokia Mission Critical Enterprise Leader (MCEL) is the sales leader of Nokia's Mission Critical Enterprise organization, directly reporting to the Chief Customer Officer. This senior executive role carries responsibility for Nokia's performance in the Mission Critical Enterprise customer segment (Transportation, Energy, Public Sector and Large Enterprises), shaping strategic direction, driving growth programs, enabling commercial results and elevating Nokia's relevance and right to play in the Mission Critical Enterprise industry ecosystem, including customers, partners, authorities and governments. The MCEL leads the Mission Critical Enterprise segment practice, including strategy, customer use cases and solution proposition, go-to-market programs, industry ecosystem development, subject matter expertise for marketing and customer engagement and sales support; it also steers the Regional Mission Critical The Mission Critical Enterprise Leader will have overall responsibility, jointly with the Region Leaders, for the global financial performance with Mission Critical Enterprise customers and will be accountable for the definition of Nokia's ambition in the Mission Critical Enterprise segments as well as the execution of sustainable growth programs, ensuring long term success and profitable growth in all targeted customer segments. Strategic Leadership & Growth: Define and execute a forward-looking global strategy in the Mission Critical Enterprise segments, aligned with Nokia's global objectives and the Chief Customer Officer's priorities, integrating global industry market trends, regulatory developments, and technology evolution. Drive long-term profitable growth programs across Mission Critical Enterprise segments and solution portfolios. Shape the Mission Critical customer segment narrative and influence the industry ecosystem direction through high-impact engagement with customer and partner CxOs, industry bodies, government authorities, and regulators. Customer Segment Practice: Understand and document the Mission Critical Enterprise market size, trends and structure, to identify Nokia's right to play and addressable market. Define Nokia's strategy in each of the Mission Critical Enterprise market segments, including customer use cases, solution portfolio positioning, product portfolio requirements and investment recommendations, GTM strategies, partnerships and customer coverage investment recommendations. Ensure Mission Critical Enterprise knowledge and expertise availability across sales and support teams. Provide subject matter expertise on Mission Critical Enterprise business to field sales teams and marketing teams as required. Commercial & Operational Accountability: Support Region Leaders in the definition and implementation of the GTM, organization and customer coverage in the Mission Critical customer segments, ensuring global consistency, sustainability and alignment with the Nokia ambition and strategy. Support Mission Critical sales teams, as well as Regional Units and Partner sales teams, in the identification and development of customer opportunities and in the definition and execution of specific growth programs and initiatives. Support complex strategic engagements and negotiations, major deals, and multi-portfolio engagements, ensuring maximal value capture and customer impact. Customer & Market Impact: Serve as Nokia's senior ambassador in the Mission Critical Enterprise industries, representing the company at strategic forums, industry events, governmental engagements, and executive customer reviews. Cultivate strategic partnerships, innovation programs, and competitive displacement initiatives that accelerate cross-BG solutions and strengthen Nokia's market leadership. * Inspires trust and confidence at the highest executive levels, including CxO, board, ministerial, and regulatory stakeholders. * Strategic, analytical, and commercially astute, with deep understanding of telecommunications, digital transformation, Mission Critical Enterprise customer challenges and buying behavior. * Exceptional leader with a track record of creating and executing sustainable growth programs in very dynamic and competitive markets. * Collaborative, enterprise-minded, and capable of delivering 'Team Nokia' outcomes across the portfolio. * Resilient, decisive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, operational complexity, and high-pressure situations. * Culturally agile, capable of leading large, virtual, multi-country organizations with diverse teams. * Performance and results driven mindset with an emphasis on quality, customer impact, and continuous improvement. * 15+ years of senior commercial leadership in telecommunications or technology, with a proven record of leading multi-country or regional organizations. * Demonstrated success managing complex global organizations. * Strong track record of profitable growth, strategic account performance, and multi-year commercial strategy execution. * In-depth knowledge of Mission Critical Enterprise networks, across Transportation, Energy, Public Sector and Large Enterprises, as well as the related implications of the AI supercycle. * Comprehensive understanding of Mission Critical Enterprise markets, including customer and partner ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, market trends, and competitor dynamics. * Strong strategic acumen, including market trends, game changers, competitive initiatives, complex industry ecosystems. * Advanced executive presence, communication, and interpersonal skills for engagement with senior leaders internally and externally. * Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent executive education preferred. | |
