Title Systems Integration and Test Engineer - Junior (ERAM) EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer. Description Under general supervision, The Systems Integration and Test Engineer shall assist in the preperation and execution of tests to verify system software and hardware. Duties may include: * Perform testing at FAA sites and in Physical/Virtual test labs to ensure the system, test procedure, and test inputs are prepared to execute with the customer present * Execute procedures that verify the system is properly configured and operating in the NAS * Report system level issues and provide detailed supporting data on identified issues * Perform formal test execution with the customer and quality assurance organizations * Understand XML data and ability to troubleshoot connection issues with network configurations, IP addresses, JMS queue configurations, etc. * Demonstrate test execution to the FAA on a run for record to achieve customer acceptance of the content per release Position Requirements Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Must be a US citizen or 3 year permanent resident. The company is not able to sponsor applicants at this time. **BEFORE STARTING, MUST BE WILLING TO ENDURE 2+ MONTHS OF TIME TO ALLOW COMPLETION OF FAA BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION** Travel required: - Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time Technical skills: - Experience with UNIX/Linux operating, troubleshoot connection /network configurations skills - Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development Process - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal and external customers - Willing to collaborate with FAA customer on sites to build system knowledge. - Experience or domain knowledge of FAA Air Traffic is desired Desired skills: * FAA Air Traffic Domain Knowledge * Experience with formal test with a government agency/customer * ERAM experience Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Education At a minimum, the following skill/experience level: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline - 1-3 years of relevant experience Salary Range 65k-90k Available Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance.
