Salary range:
The salary range for this position is between $400,000 to $500,000 annually. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation plan. Application Window Open date: May 21, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Jun 12, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Jun 25, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California Davis, Eye Center, is accepting applications for a highly qualified early or mid-career, full-time, vitreoretinal surgeon with subspecialty training in uveitis. This position is designed for an individual who will be active in clinical care and research. The candidate must have an interest and experience in teaching and research with track record of independent research funding. Responsibilities include: clinical patient care, teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows; university service, and a commitment to scientific investigation. This recruitment is conducted at the assistant and associate professor rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant/associate rank, considering the appointee's qualifications. The candidate must have an MD or MD/PhD, be board certified, completed an AUPO-FCC certified retina fellowship program, and uveitis fellowship training, and possess unrestricted licensure in the state of California.
