A Brief Overview
The psychometrist is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological/developmental tests and experimental assessments under the supervision of a clinical psychologist or clinical neuropsychologist. In their work the psychometrist must know and place emphasis on adherence to standardized test administration and research protocol procedures, accurately scoring assessments with appropriate norms, and providing detailed behavioral observations of the research participant that may be used by the psychologist/neuropsychologist to aid in test interpretation. The psychometrist will also be responsible for research protocol execution including recruiting participants, experimental data collection, organizing data, and helping to develop procedural manuals. In addition, this person may also be responsible for various clerical or administrative duties that include, but are not limited, test scoring, entering data, and the procurement of testing supplies with accountability for maintaining inventory to support research. What you will do
Diagnostic and structured/standardized assessment of both developmental/cognitive skills and social/behavioral presentation. Conduct verbal feedback of diagnostic and standardized testing results and timely write-up of psychological and cognitive/educational test findings on study protocols where that is applicable. Achievement of research reliable status on ASD diagnostic gold standard measures including the ADOS-2. As such, prior experience administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) is preferred. Provision of behavioral support for individuals undergoing experimental procedures such as EEG. Project coordination as part of a team, and efficient experimental throughput is a central part of this position. Relevant associated duties include but are not limited to: Assisting in all aspects of participant recruitment, including contacting parents, clinicians, and care providers to obtain their consent, scheduling visits, data collection, distributing consent forms, maintaining accurate records of all contacts. Organizing data from online questionnaires and tests, compiling and reducing large quantities of data under the direction of lead investigators. Contributing to supervision of research assistants with regard to data entry, study eligibility, training on experimental paradigms, and general data processing workflow. Assisting in maintaining inter-site and intra-site reliability for multi-site network research studies. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail is essential for success. Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and occasional Saturdays. Ability and willingness to sometimes travel to off-site testing locations, such as other CHOP locations, doctor's offices, and individuals' homes.

- Master's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Psychology Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of psychometrist experience Preferred

$56,890.00 - $71,110.00 Annually
