Integrity Municipal Systems, LLC (the “Company”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cleanwater1, Inc., is a stable and fast-growing company specializing in lime slaking equipment, odor control, and chlorine scrubber equipment and aftermarket services, and chemical feed equipment for drinking water and wastewater applications.
 
Integrity Municipal Systems LLC (IMS) is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Assembler in its Zeeland, Michigan facility. The role will primarily focus on assembling mechanical and electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and experience in equipment assembly.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components and system assemblies;
  • Perform light material handling and organize components for assembly;
  • Utilize hand tools such as grinders, drills, wrenches, and similar equipment;
  • Plumb systems using galvanized, PVC, and copper piping, including gluing and soldering;
  • Assist with installation of industrial electrical wiring and conduit;
  • Support installation and wiring of medium and low voltage motors;
  • Interpret and work from schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions as needed;
  • Assist with control panel assembly when applicable;
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in safe and proper working condition;
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures;
  • Participate in occasional travel and field service work as required;
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience preferred;
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with both mechanical and electrical components;
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools;
  • Familiarity with PVC, copper, and galvanized piping systems;
  • Basic understanding of industrial electrical wiring and conduit installation preferred;
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics preferred;
  • Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience is a plus;
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices;
  • Valid driver’s license required; and
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for service-related work.
 
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods;
  • Ability to lift and move materials and components as needed;
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment;
  • Ability to work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling; and
  • Visual ability to read schematics, measurements, and assembly instructions.
 
Work Environment
  • Primarily light industrial manufacturing environment;
  • May involve exposure to equipment, noise, and industrial materials;
  • Work may include handling materials associated with water and wastewater equipment systems;
  • Appropriate PPE and safety training will be provided.

This position is non-exempt. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is between $18 and $24 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided. We generally offer employees working 21 hours per work or more medical, dental, vision, along with voluntary ancillary benefits. The Company has a 401(k)-match program and has company-paid life and AD&D insurance available for eligible employees.
