Integrity Municipal Systems LLC (IMS) is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Assembler in its Zeeland, Michigan facility. The role will primarily focus on assembling mechanical and electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and experience in equipment assembly. Essential Job Functions Assemble mechanical and electrical components and system assemblies; Perform light material handling and organize components for assembly; Utilize hand tools such as grinders, drills, wrenches, and similar equipment; Plumb systems using galvanized, PVC, and copper piping, including gluing and soldering; Assist with installation of industrial electrical wiring and conduit; Support installation and wiring of medium and low voltage motors; Interpret and work from schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions as needed; Assist with control panel assembly when applicable; Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in safe and proper working condition; Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures; Participate in occasional travel and field service work as required; Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals; and Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience preferred; Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with both mechanical and electrical components; Experience using basic hand and power tools; Familiarity with PVC, copper, and galvanized piping systems; Basic understanding of industrial electrical wiring and conduit installation preferred; Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics preferred; Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience is a plus; Positive attitude and strong work ethic; Knowledge of workplace safety practices; Valid driver’s license required; and Willingness to travel occasionally for service-related work. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods; Ability to lift and move materials and components as needed; Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment; Ability to work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling; and Visual ability to read schematics, measurements, and assembly instructions. Work Environment Primarily light industrial manufacturing environment; May involve exposure to equipment, noise, and industrial materials; Work may include handling materials associated with water and wastewater equipment systems; Appropriate PPE and safety training will be provided. The base salary range for this position is between $18 and $24 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
