Maintenance - Electrician - 3rd Shift (60703)

Job Summary:

As Maintenance - Electrician, you will perform a wide variety of duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical and electronic components in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications, and production machines/equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Test faulty equipment and diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Test electronic components and circuit boards to locate malfunction using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters.
• Repair and replace defective components on board and wiring.
• All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of mathematics and general electronic engineering.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Ability to learn computer applications such as MaintainX.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.
• May require specific vision abilities that include close vision.
• May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
• May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
• May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Electrical certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
