Weekly Work Hours 40Compensation Range Staff Range N05 SalarySalary Minimum $54,537.00 AnnuallyFLSA United States of America (Exempt)Position Type StaffPosition Summary Lead the intake functions of the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (the "Office") by conducting intake and assessment of incoming complaints alleging violations of College policies and laws related to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), and other federal, state, and local, non-discrimination laws. The Specialist will acknowledge receipt of complaints and grievances and provide the initial response to complainants; conduct pre-liminary fact finding as required to appropriately assess allegations based on Dallas College policies and applicable laws for assignment to the appropriate department and/or location. The Specialist will work closely with the Institutional Equity and Compliance Officer to coordinate the transfer of cases to investigators. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
