Primary Duties 1. Executes employee life cycle access activities including new hire provisioning, role changes, leaves of absence, and separations. Runs mover reports for business systems, monitors certification campaigns, and supports managers in completing User Access Reviews. 2. Processes access requests through IAM platform and IT service management system., assuring access is properly authorized and granted. Researches and documents approval requirements and provisioning paths for new or infrequently requested applications. 3. Administers hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments using PowerShell, handling bulk user management, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, conference rooms, capacity and calendar issues, blocked email investigations, external mail flow troubleshooting, and email address changes. 4. Manages access for enterprise applications including Aligne, PowerPlant, Workday, SAP, Oracle EBS, BOBJ, and applications introduced through projects or business needs. Conducts provisioning activities by applying access matrix, resolving errors and changes with TBS and FIS partners, and remediating identity discrepancies within complex access models. 5. Establishes and modifies Windows file shares using NTFS and share permissions, with an understanding of permission inheritance and access stacking. 6. Resolves access-related tickets such as account lockouts, password issues, Microsoft account problems, and application access errors. Evaluates and classifies blocked website requests based on business needs and resolves ambiguous submissions through clarification to grant access exactly as intended. 7. Produces Active Directory group membership extracts and user and application access reports using PowerShell, native application tools, and reporting platforms to support operations, management, and audits. 8. Prepares audit evidence and documentation supporting internal and external audits and regulatory requirements (SOX, TSA, PCI, DSS, internal audits, and compliance programs as assigned). Maintains audit-quality records. 9. Participates in IT projects and change initiatives. Provides input on access model designs for new applications, executes production access changes, and supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for access-related functionality. 10. Documents access procedures, approval matrices, and provisioning steps. Maintains awareness of evolving application access models and contributes to shared team documentation. 11. Stays current on identity and access management practices, Microsoft platform changes, and access control frameworks. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS Educational/Experience Level: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field and two years of related technical experience; or 2. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, and four years related technical experience; or 3. A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years related technical experience. Requires investigative reasoning skills, customer service orientation, and sound judgment in handling information of a sensitive nature. Communication Skills: Requires the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and provide explanations of technical or complex access concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical background. Includes the ability to walk business managers through User Access Reviews and to produce written documentation suitable for audit review. Numeric Skills: Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and basic statistical methods, and to work with structured data sets in Excel and reporting tools. Computer Skills: Requires proficiency in various software applications including PowerShell (scripting, reporting, administration), Active Directory (administrative level), Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online & hybrid Exchange), and Windows (file system, NTFS and share permissions), Excel (access matrices, pivot tables, lookups, and data validation). Working knowledge of access control principles, IT service management/ticketing systems, and identity governance platforms. Physical Demands: Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting. Work Conditions Works in an indoor environment. Position requires extended use of computer workstations. Occasional after-hours or on-call work may be required to support production access changes, audit deadlines, project cutovers, or access-related incidents.
