Description New Radiologic Technology graduates who are in the process of obtaining required licensure, certification, and/or registration are encouraged to apply! Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. The Mammography Technologist position requires the individual to be certified as a Radiology Technologist and registered as a Mammography Technologist. Operate all x-ray equipment needed to provide mammography procedures. Must be able to perform technical procedures with minimum supervision and make independent judgment in using ionizing radiation. The procedures performed along with Radiologist's interpretation must meet state and federal regulations. Each facility must designate a quality control technologist with responsibilities to meet the quality control requirements of state and federal guidelines. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
