The Business Development Specialist is responsible for Sales, Product & Business Strategy, and Clinical Strategy for our medical device portfolio in the U.S. market. This role contributes to commercial execution, market development, and clinical-related initiatives, working closely with distributors, healthcare professionals, and internal teams. The Business Development Specialist will lead the integration of market insights and clinical feedback into product and business activities and proactively translate these insights into actionable next steps and drive their execution.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Sales Execution



  • Drive hospital sales promotion through distributors by aligning commercial strategy and engagement
  • Execute and optimize sales partner programs aligned with product strategy'
  • Plan and execute seminars & exhibitions in medical conferences
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthecare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)



Product & Business Strategy Execution



  • Identify market needs and generate and synthesize insights through direct engagement with clinicians (physicians, nurses, etc.)
  • Lead engagement and product value promotion with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Drive product positioning and business activities in collaboration with internal teams (e.g., R&D, global teams)
  • Translate market and customer insights into actionable inputs for product and business strategies

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

Clinical Strategy Execution



  • Coordinate and drive clinical-related activities supporting product development and market adoption
  • Act as a key interface between clinical stakeholders and internal teams
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize clinical feedback and insights

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+years of experience in medical device, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Hands-on experience in Sales or commericial activities (e.g., distributor management, HCP engagement), Product management/marketing, or Clinical support/marketing or clinical-related activities.
  • Ability to engage directly with healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses) and understand clinical workflows and needs.
  • Proven ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive execution in a cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to maintain regular in-office presence as an important part of effective communication and collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working with or engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Exposure to clinical evidence generation, clinical evaluation, or clinical support activities.
  • Experience collaborating with R&D or product development teams.

Travel

Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.



Minimum Salary: $67,982.00



Maximum Salary: $72,500
