This position provides primary care services to college students at UMD Health Services. Key competencies needed include the ability to diagnose and treat common medical conditions impacting this population including mental health conditions. This includes ordering and interpreting lab, x-ray and other diagnostic tests. Proficiency with use and management of electronic medical records is needed. Experience suturing simple lacerations is expected. * Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate, timely patient documentation Medical Care: * Perform health histories and physical examinations Other duties(5%) * Contribute to Student Wellness on campus through clinic educational and outreach functions. Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. This position does not offer a STEM OPT training program. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: * BA/BS degree plus at least six years of experience, or an advanced degree plus at least four years of experience, or a terminal degree plus at least one year of experience Preferred Qualifications: * At least 5 years of experience in an outpatient setting with general primary care.
