Position Overview
The University of Kansas, Department of Curriculum & Teaching invites qualified professionals for a part-time, Temporary Instructor pool. This position will teach a variety of courses offered by the department at the undergraduate and master's level programs. Amount of work required can vary by position and will range in FTE.
Applicants will be reviewed and considered for teaching positions as needs arise. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. The Instructor is an instructional, adjunct faculty position that is not eligible for tenure or promotion in rank. This is a term appointment for the [Summer 2026] semester. Renewal will be based upon unit needs and funding as well as performance that meets expectations, not to exceed two continuous semesters. The Instructor is a union covered position within the collective bargaining unit represented by United Academics of Kansas University (UAKU). UAKU is the exclusive bargaining representative for the bargaining unit. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. prior to the start date of the position.
