GFT is seeking aGIS Analystto join our Geospatial team on the East Coast. Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the following areas: Mechanicsburg, PA; Towson, MD; Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NJ; and Miami, FL. Whatyou'llbe challenged to do:

This is an excellent opportunity to join and enhance a diverse team that is currently working on a wide range of exciting geospatially based data analytics, data visualization, and automated decision support-oriented projects across the country in several industries.This role supports the delivery of modern GIS solutions that help clients organize data, improve operations, and make better decisions across transportation, infrastructure, environmental, and public-sector programs.

In this capacity, the successful candidate willbe responsible forthe following:

  • Support the design, configuration, and development of GIS applications and toolsets.
  • Implement GIS applications and workflows using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Configure and customize Esri Experience Builder applications.
  • Develop dashboards for data analysis, reporting, and situational awareness.
  • Configure and deploy field collection applications, including Survey123 and Field Maps.
  • Support GIS data management workflows, including hosted feature layers, enterprise geodatabases, and versioned editing environments.
  • Develop andmaintainscripts or repeatable workflows that improve data processing, quality control, and reporting.
  • Participate in client meetings and perform demos of developed tools.
  • Support documentation, testing, quality control, and lifecycle management of GIS applications, data, and services.
Education | Experience:

Whatyou'llbring to our firm:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, Management Information Systems, ora related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional GIS experience using the Esri ArcGIS platform, including:
    • Useof andmanagement ofGISwith ArcGISPro,ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Portal.
    • Administration and configuration of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Hub,Datastore.
    • Configuration and customization of Survey123, Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Web App Builder, ArcGIS Experience Builder.
  • Production experience with Python and ArcGIS API for Python andArcPy.
  • Production experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server geodatabase management / SQL querying multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Experience creating geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Pro Model Builder and ArcGIS Pro Python Toolbox.
  • Successful deployment of configured Apps with ArcGIS Web App Builder and Experience Builder Developer editions.
  • Client-focused and service-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonalcommunicationand negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools, including how to selectan appropriate largelanguage model for a task, develop effective prompts, evaluate outputs, and apply AI responsibly in technical workflows.

What we prefer you bring:

  • 4+ years of GIS experience.
  • Prior experience with Safe Software FME, Esri Roads&Highways, Python, orArcPy.
  • Customer-facing role experience.
  • Experience leading a project team.
  • ArcGIS Enterprise installation and setup.
  • Create and manage Enterprise Geodatabases.
  • Develop process and data automation via scripting.
  • Architect efficient solutions and Enterprise GIS environments to meet client requirements.
  • Python scripting for data ingestion and normalization.
  • Proficient with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • JSONData & Files
  • Troubleshooting and optimization using ArcGIS Server Manager and Monitor.
  • Knowledge of deploying/troubleshooting standalone applications to IIS.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL/PostGISgeodatabases.
  • Experience in Transportation or AEC industries.
  • Resideon the East Coast or comfortable operating inEasternStandard Time (EST) zone.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude,MicrosoftCopilot, Claude Code, or similar AI coding, research, and workflow automation platforms.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
