What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a full-time Litigation Practice Specialist to support the Employment Litigation Team. The Litigation Practice Specialist will partner with paralegals and attorneys on matters by assisting with case management. The work is primarily in support of US clients but extends outside the US as the business requires. The Practice Specialist will maintain and improve upon processes and practices to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the employment law team. We are seeking someone who provides high quality professional services and assistance to the paralegals, lawyers and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


What You'll Do
  • Acknowledge services documents, perform matter intake process and assign matters
  • Prepare initial shells of pleading, discovery and motion documents
  • Finalize pleadings and motions for eFiling - State, Federal and Appellate Courts
  • Calendar relevant dates to track court and filing deadlines
  • Issue legal holds
  • Maintain and prepare litigation data for federal reporting
  • Enforce fee arrangements, resolve invoice issues, and address other finance issues related to matters

What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of 5 years of law firm experience as a litigation secretary (California litigation experience required)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Extensive knowledge of court e-filing and trial procedures in federal and state procedures and rules
  • Team player having the desire and initiative to develop and take ownership
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, organizational, and administrative skills, as well as strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across multiple teams to produce results
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality

    Expected Compensation
    $32.40 - $55.20/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
