Role Summary

- The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes verifying and recording incoming
- and outgoing shipments, preparing items for delivery, ensuring accuracy of orders, and maintaining inventory records. The role requires attention to detail,
- organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips, invoices, or purchase orders.
- Coordinate and ship as necessary via UPS, FedEx, and Freight (equipment, parts, and sealant)
- Pull parts for equipment build
- Inspect incoming components to verify quality, aesthetics, and quantities
- Pick up parts at local vendors as needed
- Ship and receive customer parts for impregnation processing
- Create customer orders as needed (convert from estimate)
- Load/unload trucks
- Stage, label, and organize inventory in designated storage locations to ensure efficient retrieval
- Unpack, receive, and properly store incoming materials, supplies, and products
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Track and resolve shipping discrepancies or damages
- Lead cycle counts and inventory management
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, safe, and organized
- International shipment of hazardous substances
- Serve as backup for production, running impregnation lines
- Support equipment build team as needed (paint, weld, assemble, etc.)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and inventory control.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift certification a plus
