STV is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager for our PM/CM group to support our Construction Management team. The PE's primary responsibility is to provide support and assistance to the other construction management team members in the performance of their respective responsibilities. The PE is expected at times to step into the roles of more senior members of the CM team, including, without limitation, running design or construction meetings, conducting field checks, preparing written and photographic materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, guidelines, meeting minutes, and proposed action requests to the client. The PE coordinates with the Design Team for conformance review and timely and accurate responses to requests for information, submittals, construction change documents, etc. The PE maintains Change Order Logs and other tracking documents. The PE performs coordination and internal reviews of Change Orders (CO), Field Orders(FO) and other contractual documents for Districtwide Design/Construction projects. The PE provides administrative and technical support throughout the lifecycle of educational projects, ensuring compliance with program management office construction department, District standards, and DSA regulations. This role has the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings, and works closely with Project Managers, superintendents, district representatives, and contractors to help deliver high-quality learning environments on time and within budget.
