The Position

Reporting directly to the Executive Managing Director, the Director of Strategic Partnerships is accountable for developing and delivering growth that drives sustainable revenue, market expansion, and scalable certification pathways for Exemplar Global while also providing cross-functional leadership and direction to internal market-facing teams. The role operates at a strategic level and will own the development, execution, and delivery of partnerships, including the translation of these into structured programs and commercial outcomes that are aligned to Exemplar Global's business model and quality framework.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, have an ability to connect market needs to revenue outcomes, possess strong partnership and stakeholder engagement skills, and be a structured thinker who is able to move from idea to program to delivery.

The salary range for this role is $106,192 - $132,740. Any extended offer is based on the selected candidate's experience and overall fit for the role.

Scope:



  • Responsible for managing 4 direct reports.


  • Positioned within the Senior Leadership job family, with accountability for strategic impact, commercial outcomes, and cross-functional alignment.


  • Provides leadership and direction across Exemplar Global's market-facing teams including Sales, Account Services, Community, and Marketing, ensuring alignment and collaboration with ASQ Marketing and Commercial through a shared services model.



Main Responsibilities



  • Support diversification of revenue streams and expansion into new market channels.


  • Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with certification bodies, industry associations, enterprises, and adjacent organizations to create scalable training and certification pathways.


  • Own strategic partner relationships end-to-end, including commercial terms, agreement structure, delivery expectations, and performance outcomes.


  • Ensure partnership opportunities are converted into a qualified pipeline and effectively progressed in collaboration with Sales and Account Services.


  • Translate partner and market needs into structured, commercially viable programs and revenue opportunities.


  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations to ensure offerings and programs align with partner needs and can be delivered efficiently and consistently.


  • Establish governance, systems, and reporting frameworks to support partnership performance, accountability, and scalability.


  • Provide leadership and direction to internal market-facing functions (Sales, Account Services, Marketing, Community) and collaborate with other functions to ensure clarity of priorities, effective handoffs, and coordinated execution.


  • Collaborate with ASQ's marketing and Commercial team to ensure a successful and effective Shared Services relationship.


  • Contribute at the senior leadership level to strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational alignment.


  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:



  • 100% remote work eligible for candidate located in the states of FL, IA, IL, IN, MI, NC, NM, VA, WI, and MO.


  • Must be able to travel up to 15% including some international travel to key markets.


  • The work schedule will require flexibility outside of the typical 8am-5pm to accommodate other team members or client time zones 1-2 times a week on average.



Bring Your Best: Position Minimum Qualifications



  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field


  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience building relationships that translate into structured programs with revenue-driven objectives


  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Must be able to comply with attendance and timeliness policies.


  • This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship(e.g., STEM OPT, TN, H-1B, or other work visa).
