Title Hardware Engineer - Senior EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer. Description Perform ERAM Hardware Engineering, following established processes, in support of the following activities: Create/modify CAD drawings to include but not limited to: System/Rack/Cabling drawings: - Produce multi-rack drawings detailing equipment to equipment connectivity with info derived from system level documentation, engineers, parts lists, visual inspections, and vendor documentation - Adapt drawing formats and standards to program requirements and prepare for release - Construct "high level" diagrams showing connectivity between subsystems - Revise and update system level communication diagram - Generate Cable Source drawings (purchasing documentation) Develop Cable Marking Specifications (CMS): - Develop spreadsheets detailing cable specifications, including Wire Numbers, Part Numbers, - To/From destinations, Cable and Connector identification, and Marker label information Support the Engineering Change Process: - Generate Revisions to Engineering Drawings - Bill of Material updates/releases Support Design and Prototyping, typically racks and workstations: - Product selection and verification Other tasks as appropriate to support the development/maintenance team Position Requirements Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. The company is not able to sponsor applicants at this time. **BEFORE STARTING, MUST BE WILLING TO ENDURE 2+ MONTHS OF TIME TO ALLOW COMPLETION OF FAA BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION** Minimum Requirements/Qualifications Education: At a minimum, the following skill/experience level: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline & 12+ years of relevant experience - Masters Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline & 10-14 years of relevant experience - Doctorate in technical domain At a minimum, the Hardware Engineer shall have the following skill/experience level: - AUTOCAD experience is required (1-3 years' experience required) - Knowledge of other drawing tools, such as Visio, is preferred (1-3 years' experience required) - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (1-3 years' experience required) - Material Requirements Planning (MRP) - Bill-of-Material (BOM) structuring and management (1-3 years' experience preferred) - Authoring and Supporting Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), configuration management or similar formal design change processes (1-3 years' experience required) Additionally, the following skills(s) experiences are preferred: - Experience working on-site at ARTCC(s) - FAA Air Traffic Domain Knowledge - ERAM experience Travel required: - 2026 --> (7) 1-Week Trips & (1) 3-Week trip - 2027 --> (1) 3-Week Trip - Possible additional travel (as needed) Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Education At a minimum, the following skill/experience level: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline & 12+ years of relevant experience | Masters Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline & 10-14 years of relevant experience | Doctorate in technical domain Salary Range 130k-165k Available Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance.
