Management Engineer, Building Automation - Facilities & Services Job SummaryThe Building Automation Management Engineer is responsible for the overall leadership, technical direction, and operational management of the campus Building Automation System (BAS) and Electronic Access Control (EAC) programs. This position manages the DDC Specialist I-V classification series, BAS design staff, and provides strategic oversight of system architecture, design, programming standards, capital project integration, staff development, and 24/7 operational reliability. The Manager serves as the primary technical authority and administrative lead for BAS/EAC systems, ensuring alignment with campus standards, shop drawing design, energy management goals, life-safety requirements, and long-term infrastructure planning. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5003 - Program Director position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 6/22/2026. The budgeted salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints.
