Commercial Trials & Litigation Associate
Steptoe LLP seeks an associate with 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience to join the Firm's Commercial Trials & Litigation practice group in our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial disputes and be ready to assume significant responsibility in managing matters. This role offers meaningful opportunities to work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Judicial clerkship experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and superior writing and analytical skills.
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required, along with admission to the California Bar in active good standing. To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
We do not accept search firm submissions for candidates with two or fewer years of experience or for judicial clerkship applicants, regardless of experience level.
We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits in a collegial environment that emphasizes training and mentorship. The anticipated salary range is $235,000 to $310,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
