Description and Requirements

This product marketing role is responsible for defining positioning and creating compelling content to amplify Lenovo Hybrid Cloud solutions and services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with offering leads to define and position new and existing solutions enabled by hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure.
  • Leveraging Agile methodologies, develop strategies and plans to rapidly launch and market integrated solutions, services, and capabilities enabled by hybrid cloud and AI.
  • Create and maintain content to engage customers across touchpoints, including development of message houses, customer presentations, brochures, FAQs, video scripts, web content, etc.
  • Develop thought leadership positioning Lenovo as a market leader in hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure services and solutions.
  • Partner with product development / management on roadmap execution, including the launch and rollout of new solutions (and eventual withdrawal).
  • Build and execute joint solutions marketing plans with strategic partners.
  • Understand and provide counsel on trends in hybrid cloud and AI workloads, customer requirements, usage, and buying behavior, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Develop revenue-driving programs, campaigns, and marketing activities.
  • Effectively manage a marketing budget and agencies.

Key Deliverables

  • Comprehensive solutions marketing and enablement plans anchored in deep hybrid cloud and multi-cloud product marketing experience
  • Compelling value props, bold statements, and messaging differentiation
  • Agile solution launches, plus ongoing ownership and amplification
  • Measurement and reporting on marketing activities and programs (ROI)

Key Success Metrics

  • Successful offering introduction and rollout (time to revenue, launch success, stakeholder feedback)
  • Regular marketing performance metrics and KPIs (product adoption, lead generation, market impact)
  • Proactive and credible marketing counsel to offering leads and development teams on effective positioning and differentiation strategies
  • Consistent adherence to offering development and marketing governance guidelines
  • Balanced marketing budget

Interfaces with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Primary stakeholders: Hybrid AI Solutions Marketing Team & Offering Leads
  • Corporate Marketing (AR, events, PR/comms, brand, web, social media)
  • Geos Marketing and Sales (NA, LA, EMEA, and AP)
  • Marketing and sales enablement teams across business groups
  • Customers and partners

Position Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience in the technology sector, including at least five years in hybrid cloud services and solutions; AI solutions experience a plus
  • Degree level qualification in marketing, journalism, or equivalent
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience launching and managing solutions through the lifecycle, including Agile marketing processes
  • Experience co-developing and jointly executing on marketing strategies with partners
  • Track record of engaging global audiences and matrix teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in challenging situations
  • Outstanding writing, content development, and editing skills with the ability to communicate simply and authentically
  • Professional presentation and proven stakeholder management expertise
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve content quality, efficiency, and innovation
