Scope of Position

This detail-oriented and data-driven individual, as part of the Materials department, will be responsible for maintaining inventory and bin accuracy across the stockroom, production areas, and offsite warehouse locations to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate inventory transactions, resolves discrepancies, and supports material flow to maintain operational continuity.

This position reports to Stockroom Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts in stockroom, production areas, and offsite warehouse locations, ensuring alignment between physical counts and ERP records.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc bin audits to ensure proper inventory organization and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory transactions in ERP systems, including receiving, issuing, transferring, and adjustments.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reporting on cycle count results, variances, and inventory status.
  • Provide material handling support, including pulling materials, replenishment, and processing returns (RMA, canceled jobs, and misplaced materials).
  • Support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives within the materials function.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Stockroom Supervisor or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency).
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required; may include occasional visits to offsite warehouse locations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required (in absence of degree, may consider relevant work experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in a warehousing and manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of end-to-end cycle count ownership and experience.
  • Experience with inventory transactions and ERP systems (SAP/WMS preferred).
  • Basic math and computer skills to perform ERP transactions and inventory-related tasks.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing-driven inventory control environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Fort Worth location in Fort Worth, Texas. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
