Your Job

Molex is seeking a POC (Proof of Concept) Lab Supervisor to lead our POC Lab located in the Arkansas Design Center, which supports Copper Solutions Business Unit. In this role the successful candidate will be leading the ADC POC lab by building out the team and establishing processes to support design activities in Taiwan Design Center. The POC Lab Supervisor will work closely with the DPE team (Development Process Engineer) as well as other cross functional teams located in ADC and other design centers. The supervisor will apply strong leadership, organization and communication skills to support the POC lab's day-to-day activities and long-term goals.

What You Will Do

  • Develop & Implement POC Execution Strategy through POC Lab alongside DPEs to align People, Material and Machine to meet critical project completion dates.
  • Establish ADC POC Culture through Lab Organization
  • Measure and Report on POC Lab Key Metrics
  • Collaborate with other DSS POC labs to learn and share best practices: project list, tooling strategies, vendor base etc.
  • Coordinates POC Lab activities and works with management and personnel to prioritize the schedule for POC builds leveraging JIRA or similar systems
  • Identify, hire and train resources as needed to support POC lab activities
  • Drive Continuous Improvement of the POC Lab Process to improve speed and improve quality and reduce variability of anything assembled.
  • Leverage inventory system for ADC lab and leading the Managing of Inventory in ADC
  • Understanding demand and identify Labor or resource shortages. Work on solutions with management.
  • Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, GLSS/Lean, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering related fields
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment in materials, customer service, quality or engineering
  • Supervisor experience with strong leadership skills to lead, expand and develop a team.
  • Ability to navigate through uncertainties and adapt to fast changing business environment
  • Strong Analytical skills to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Excellent organization and planning skills that anticipate issues and address changing needs

What Will Put You Ahead

  • SAP experience
  • Technical product knowledge to resolve production and assembly issues
  • Experience in NPI environment
  • Understanding of materials management concepts such as forecasting, inventory management and Global capabilities of DSS Supply Chain
  • Experience in JIRA
