Learn more: https://www.stmarysregional.com What You'll Do As an RN in the Cath Lab, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac procedures. You'll assess patient needs, implement evidencebased interventions, and ensure safe, seamless care throughout each procedure. Responsibilities include: Assessing patient needs including psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, educational, physical, and populationspecific factors Monitoring vascular and cardiac procedures including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and level of consciousness Managing supplies and equipment such as catheters, guidewires, PTA balloons, IV solutions, and interventional cardiac supplies (PTCA, stents) Training and orienting new staff to IR/Cath Lab procedures, equipment, and workflows Providing postprocedure care, including monitoring and holding arterial pressure Delivering safe, accurate nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation Responding to call and arriving within 30 minutes when needed This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a highacuity environment and is comfortable taking call.
