Responsibilities
Howmet Aerospace Inc. ("Howmet") is currently in search of a Hyperion Applications, Specialist to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) organization, supporting the Howmet Corporate Center in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role you will act as a liaison to Howmet's businesses and various customer groups as well as coordinate and lead the offshore teams in the support of the Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase applications. Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving support issues, championing process improvements, coordinating technical work and support efforts across various infrastructure and application support teams. Major activities/Key challenges:
- Demonstrate deep understanding of business applications, processes, and technology.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and 3rd party vendors.
- Coordinate and assist in investigating and resolving support issues, technical work across various infrastructure and application support teams.
- Lead the system upgrades, deployments, and technology expansions.
- Preserve and improve the cybersecurity posture by keeping the applications and their infrastructure up to date.
- Manage small to large-scale projects working with stakeholders to - plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks, and communicate clearly with partners from across the company.
- Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual or cross-functional areas of responsibilities for continuous optimization of support and testing
- Collaborate with IT Business Architect to define and maintain application roadmaps.
- Maintain ITIL artifacts (CMDB and support KB articles), architecture diagrams, audit, disaster recovery and various support documentations.
- Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in the job requirements and changes in technology.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Information Technology
- Strong proficiency in writing and executing[ON1] SQL
- Working knowledge of Oracle EPM applications and tools - Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase, FDMEE and Smart View
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years prior experience supporting Hyperion applications
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes and Data Security concepts
- Experience with Oracle R12 (12.2), Oracle 19c databases, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and management.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
- Out of the box thinking to evaluate alternate solutions
- Solid leadership and organizational skills
- Experience of working as a member of project team
Salary Range: $105k-$130K/year approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/org location). This role is open to remote work, traveling to the Corporate Center in Pittsburgh PA one week a month. Working at Howmet's Corporate Center:
