Description Job Title: Product Introduction (PI) Technician Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: 12-month contract Industry: Transportation Manufacturing Compensation: $36-$42/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Hours could vary depending on business needs About the Opportunity: Our PI Technicians play a key role in carrying out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule. What You'll Do: Understand in detail the acceptance criteria of the customer for the project/product. Carry out the systematic handover from manufacturing. Ensure that all serial test procedures are covered and the completion of test reports. Manage the repair of failures Trace with precision and rigor each failure Propose process improvements Collaborate with other teams internally to achieve common goals Escalate any non-up-to-date testing tools Comply with EHS procedures Report deviations, near-misses, and accidents accordingly Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience testing & commissioning of electrical, control, vehicle, or onboard communications & network systems What Sets You Apart: Mechanical aptitude Familiarity with high-risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements Previous work experience in the rail industry and/or specific educational studies in this field Strong technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networks domains Understanding of Lean approach for Industrialization Result-driven mindset Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders Proven Aptitude for problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
