Description What our client is trying to achieve/desired business outcome: Core offering: Provides access to services and products tailored for publishers. Market focus: Serves the academic publishing industry, particularly higher education institutions. Unique positioning: Our client supports various business models for academic publishing. Universities are the primary customers, and fulfills a niche need that no other company currently addresses. Institutions may purchase books and journals in distinctive ways that accommodates. A successful engagement for this individual will mean leading up efforts in: * Understanding what has been built * Completing any remaining work needed to go live * Successfully going live with the new Salesforce platform * Taking over ongoing maintenance and support of what has been built * Contributing to future build work, including creation of clear documentation * Informing and implementing strategies for CI/CD, test automation and AI driven software development * Transitioning from partner's tools by acquiring and configuring tools to enable those strategies Skills Salesforce CPQ, salesforce, erpss, pricing rules, Tiered Pricing, Product Bundles, Subscriptions, cpq, apex, development Top Skills Details Salesforce CPQ,salesforce,erpss,pricing rules,Tiered Pricing,Product Bundles,Subscriptions Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience * Experience playing a primary role with ongoing development of SFDC environments. * Experience (5 years) developing in both Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ Preferred Experience * Experience working with Conga Composer * Experience working with Mulesoft * Experience working with Salesforce integrations into financial systems * Experience working with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) Skills 1. Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud Development and Admin Expertise a. Expert level skills with SFDC development and administration in both Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud. b. Expert level understanding of SFDC ecosystem, capabilities, architecture, products, and best practices 2. Leadership and Communication a. Ability to inform a launch plan/roadmap and execute successfully on it b. Ability to effectively manage all ongoing development work c. Create strong documentation/artifacts 3. General development experience a. Shares similar practices to our dev teams e.g. agile ceremonies, empowered teams; b. Similar dev practices to our developers e.g. CI/CD practices, code review, qa preview/review, test automation, etc. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
