Job Summary

The Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 and Azure-based environments. This role supports enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft 365 and Zoom, with a focus on security, reliability, and user experience in a fully remote wealth management environment. The position also plays a key role in onboarding and integrating acquired firms, including data migrations and tenant consolidations using industry-standard tools.


Job Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and Microsoft security tools
  • Manage and support Zoom environment, including telephony, AI features, and SMS capabilities
  • Lead vulnerability management, security configuration, and patching activities across cloud systems
  • Support onboarding and IT integration of acquired firms, including tenant-to-tenant migrations and data transfers
  • Execute and support data migration activities using tools such as BitTitan and ShareGate
  • Partner with MSP provider (Thrive) for daily operations, escalations, and infrastructure support coordination
  • Maintain secure, compliant, and highly available cloud environments
  • Provide responsive, high-quality IT support in a client-facing, regulated financial services environment
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and industry compliance standards


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure administration
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Defender suite
  • Solid background in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and patching strategies
  • Experience supporting regulated environments (financial services preferred)
  • Strong communication, customer service, and presentation skills suitable for executive-level users
  • Experience working with MSPs and third-party IT vendors
  • Hands-on experience with migration tools such as BitTitan and ShareGate


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise IT integrations
  • Familiarity with Zoom Phone, Zoom AI features, and enterprise telephony systems
  • Background supporting wealth management or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience operating in fully remote enterprise environments
