The Xu Lab at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, is seeking a highly motivated and organized postdoctoral fellow. Our research focuses on understanding how transcriptome regulation and stability govern metabolic homeostasis. We have established an integrated research platform combining metabolic physiology, bioinformatics, and RNA molecular biology. The successful candidate will investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic regulation, with the long-term goal of identifying new therapeutic strategies for obesity-related diseases. The employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position. 70% - Ongoing Research * Participate in the design and implementation of hypothesis-driven research projects. 15% - Analysis & Review * Conduct analysis and review of generated data and reviewing previously reported scientific literature. 15% - Scientific writing * Write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Qualifications
Required Qualifications * Ph.D., DDS, DVM, JD, MD or equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications * Proven track record of high-quality publications.
