The EVS Technician will be responsible for providing various cleaning functions to ensure a safe, clean, organized and sanitary environment. Northside continues its commitment to quality, compassion and service.

The Patient Dining Associatiate will be responsible for communications between the nursing units and the Food Service Department in regard to patient menus, diet changes, and general patient services. Reads patient menus to patients twice daily. Edits patient selections to meet restrictions associated with diet orders. Organizes and manages diet orders in a timely and effective manner. Develops menu tallies of special requests. Must be familiar with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Reacts accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficiency. Assembles trays for patients and deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units. Occasionally, may also prepare salads, desserts, beverages and other miscellaneous food items.

EVS Tech Requirements:

1. Ability to follow oral instructions.
2. Ability to work without close supervision.
3. Ability to operate necessary equipment/machines.
4. Previous commercial housekeeping experience preferred.

PDA Requirements:

1. Six (6) months of customer service or food service experience required.
2. Six (6) months to one (1) year healthcare food service experience or two (2) years food service experience preferred.
