Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Mission Integration Coordinator will be responsible for the overall delivery and coordination of mission integration across Kroc Center programs for all ages. This includes coordination with the Officer for Congregational Life to support congregational life programming, spiritual development, discipleship, service opportunities, mentoring, and faith-based engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in coordination with Youth and Education Manager:



  • Lead, coordinate, and support ministry-focused programming across the Kroc Center, including small groups, Sunday School, worship participation, outreach, discipleship, seasonal ministries, spiritual development initiatives, and other ministry expressions.
  • Ensure all programs are missionally aligned, theologically consistent, appropriately balanced, and effective by establishing goals, reviewing curriculum and materials, measuring outcomes, and maintaining adherence to Salvation Army doctrine, standards, and approved resources.
  • Recruit, train, equip, mentor, and develop staff, volunteers, participants, and emerging leaders for effective ministry service, spiritual growth, discipleship, worship involvement, Bible studies, small groups, service opportunities, and use of their God-given gifts.
  • Assist with Kroc Center-wide spiritual development campaigns, seasonal emphases, ministry initiatives, and outreach opportunities that help individuals explore, grow in, and express the Christian faith, including Kroc Cares.
  • Serve as a central ministry resource for staff and volunteers by providing curriculum guidance, ministry ideas, event planning support, approved materials, training systems, and practical tools.
  • Actively participate in Kroc Church worship services, Sunday activities, and the overall spiritual life of the center, integrating personal evangelism, authentic faith expression, community relationship-building, and holistic mentoring into regular ministry interactions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Kroc Center staff, and divisional and territorial ministry leadership to promote ministry programs, support participation in events and campaigns, coordinate shared spaces and schedules, and ensure smooth cross-departmental operations.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, program data, reporting systems, and regular ministry effectiveness reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain confidentiality, comply fully with Safe From Harm policies and procedures, attend required meetings and leadership gatherings, maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Driving is an essential duty for this position.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: Participation in or completion of an undergraduate degree in education, youth development, social work, ministry, or related field required.

  • Ability to recruit, equip, mentor, and support staff, volunteers, and emerging leaders.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of members, guests, volunteers, or employees of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • English proficiency required; Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • General computer knowledge required to access payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, and web-based systems.


Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must demonstrate a commitment to The Salvation Army mission and the ability to support faith-based programming and ministry initiatives in a Christ-centered environment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: First Aid/CPR preferred. Must successfully complete Safe From Harm training as established by The Salvation Army.

Working Conditions: The work environment is a community center with light to moderate traffic and noise levels. In addition, portions of the primary work facility may be considered humid (natatorium) while other locations (gymnasium) may be considered moderately loud in nature.
