POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Information Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is seeking an IT Systems Administratror.The IT Administrator will support the development and operation of the FORGE, an Additive Manufacturing Facility, onboard Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This effort is being lead by Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) Pacific. This material system will be the result of an integration effort to provide for 3D Print Exchange and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities using networked systems worldwide that will ultimately provide for a Joint Service 3-D Printing capability to the Department of War (DoW).



  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains client/server configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Manages accounts, firewalls, and patches. Responsible for access control, passwords, and account creation and administration. Create user Active Directory accounts, Exchange email accounts, and Teams accounts.
  • Work with all corporate departments and branch offices to investigate, review needs, obtain price quotes, make recommendations, install, and maintain personal computers and applications.
  • Overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; Implementing operational and technical security controls; adhering to organizational security policies and procedures. Respond in a timely manner to malware incidents and remediate malware infected systems.
  • Perform analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security.
  • Assist in providing computer technical support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users.
  • Provide daily support and technical issues resolution via instant messaging, phone calls, email, and Service Manager ticketing system.
  • Demonstrates capacity for prioritization and management in a dynamic environment.
  • Assist in setting up and troubleshooting for Business/Teams Video Teleconferences.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room audio visual equipment.


Payrate:$38.45 to $45.67 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree in information technology or related field/equivalency.
  • Applicable military training/experience highly desired; appropriate US Navy "A" and "C" schools, USMC Data Systems Administrator, etc apply and/or other DoD IT Training is applicable.
  • Desired Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security +, CNSSI 4011, or SSCP (Just 1 of these is acceptable) and operating system certification or ability to obtain operating system certification. Already member of CSWF highly desirable.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience. Strong, technical working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a willingness to learn new technologies and to be a team player and provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software, to include computer repair, both Mac and PC.
  • Current Security+ certification
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • SECRET Clearance or ability to gain clearance.
