Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As an Administrative Assistant for our US Global Asset Management business, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative and office support for our Minneapolis office. In addition, your role will cover our reception desk and will be the first point of contact for in-person visitors as well as covering our fielding incoming calls to the general phone line.

What will you do?

  • Provide reception services by welcoming visitors, handling mail and answering the main phone line 5 days per week
  • Provide basic printer maintenance by filling with paper and toner, arrange for repair as needed
  • Order all office and kitchen supplies
  • Assist with connecting conference room technology, order catering, print materials as requested
  • Travel booking and expense reporting in Concur as assigned
  • Interact professionally with internal and external clients and visitors, handle inquiries effectively, in an organized and courteous manner
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgment; maintain confidentiality of all matters ascertained by reason of access to such information in this position
  • Cross train within peer group to serve as back up and contribute to a high performing administrative team environment

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Associates degree, bachelors' degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of administrative/office support related experience in a professional services/office environment
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to work effectively with others in a professional manner
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in financial services
  • Certified Notary Public

The expected salary range for this particular position is $50,000-$80,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
