Join our Environment and Health department in Princeton, New Jersey as a ManagingConsultant and play a leading role in delivering environmental due diligence, siteinvestigation, remediation, and permitting solutions for a diverse client base. In this role,you will combine technical depth, project leadership, and client engagement whileworking alongside respected experts who are passionate about solving complex sitechallenges. You'll be based in a well-connected office with convenient access to NewYork City and Philadelphia, supporting collaboration across New Jersey and the broaderNortheast market.

Your new role

As our new Managing Consultant, you will help lead complex site solutions projects forlocal, national, and international clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor acrossenvironmental due diligence, Phase I and Phase II assessments, site investigation andremediation, multimedia environmental permitting, and brownfield redevelopmentsupport. This role is especially well suited to a consulting professional with experiencenavigating NJDEP and Northeast regulatory frameworks and delivering practicalstrategies that help clients manage environmental risk, advance redevelopment, andmaintain compliance.

In this role, you will:

* Manage permitting and regulatory compliance activities, including NJDEP coordination, and partner withgeotechnical, environmental, and engineering teams to support site investigation, remediation, anddevelopment projects.

* Build productive relationships with New Jersey state and local environmental agencies and coordinateeffectively with clients, developers, attorneys, and other project stakeholders across the region.

* Support redevelopment and brownfield projects by identifying environmental risk, evaluating site constraints, and delivering practical solutions that help clients advance projects on schedule and in compliance.

* Review site investigation data and reports, interpret findings, and provide clear technical perspectives on the nature and extent of contamination.

* Prepare concise, high-quality technical deliverables that translate complex information into practicalrecommendations.

* Develop strong draft work products independently and review, guide, and strengthen the work of colleagues across project teams.

* Play a visible role in client relationships, lead discussions, and help identify follow-on opportunities that create long-term value.

About you

We believe the following qualificationsand capabilities will position you for success.

* A degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, environmental science, or a closely related field is preferred.

* At least 10 years of environmental consulting experience managing environmental assessments, siteinvestigations, site surveys, site planning, remediation, and permitting projects in a consulting environment.

* Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) credential, or progress toward licensure, is required for candidates supporting New Jersey site remediation and redevelopment projects.

* Experience working with New Jersey state and local environmental agencies, including familiarity with NJDEP Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment Program regulations and technical guidance; broader Northeast regulatory experience is a plus.

* Familiarity with redevelopment and brownfield projects, with the ability to align environmental strategies, site remediation requirements, and project objectives to keep projects moving forward.

* Strong technical knowledge of contaminated site investigation, remediation, permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental risk evaluation.

* Willingness to travel periodically for short business trips, locally or throughout the U.S., depending on project needs; a valid driver's license and ability to travel by air are required.

* OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training or the ability to meet this requirement.

Salary Transparency

At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices thatsupport our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipatedbase salary range for this position is $115,500 - $150,000 per year. This range reflectsthe compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actualcompensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education,and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differdepending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, thisposition may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offera comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development,and work-life balance.
