Facility Operations Job Description
The Manager of Facilities Procurement and Inventory plays a crucial role in MU Facilities Operations, ensuring the efficient acquisition, management, and distribution of inventory valued at approximately $5 million annually. This position supports the operational needs of all departments within Campus Facilities, optimizing resources and maintaining high standards of service. Key Responsibilities Shift
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
*Comparable experience or a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, retail management or a related field. *Minimum of five years' experience in procurement, inventory management, or facilities operations. *Must have the ability to become proficient with PeopleSoft, WebTMA, Maximo, and Microsoft Office products. *Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. *Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. *Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and contract management. *Must possess a valid driver's license, which will allow legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri.
