Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director for Physician Enterprise Clinical Operations, the Specialty Care Administrator serves as the primary operational leader for the UCI Specialty Care Associates Medical Group, driving the clinical excellence and strategic scaling of a high-growth community physician workforce. In close collaboration with the Medical Director, this position oversees the daily clinical operations of over 60 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers, with planned growth over the next year ensuring optimal patient throughput and the delivery of outstanding specialty services as measured by quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance metrics. The Administrator is responsible for the full lifecycle of provider management, including recruitment, comprehensive onboarding, complex scheduling, and the oversight of payroll and human resources matters. Furthermore, the role involves the annual preparation and rigorous fiscal management of clinical budgets while providing the administrative direction necessary to align community growth initiatives with the broader strategic goals and delivery standards of UCI Health. This role will also have oversight over administrative staff that will be supporting the individual divisions within Specialty Care.
