This may include shipments of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) controlled goods. You will also assist in filing Electronic Export Information (EEI) in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system. This position's part-time responsibilities will align with your primary job function as the [International Shipping Lead/Shipping Coordinator/Shipping Clerk].

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. While 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, we are willing to provide training for the right person eager to learn and grow in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and Export Compliance Manual/Handbook.
  • Prepare and review export documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
  • File Electronic Export Information (EEI) in the ACE system.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely export documentation.
  • Ensure all required export licenses and authorizations are in place before shipment.
  • Assist with compliance audits and support record-keeping requirements.
  • Work closely with shipping and logistics teams to ensure smooth and compliant export operations.
  • Keep up to date with export regulations and assist in ensuring the company remains compliant with changes in laws.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of U.S. export regulations (ITAR, EAR) is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

  • 1-2 years of experience in export compliance, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with the ACE system and filing EEIs.
  • Basic understanding of export control regulations.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
