Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication, customer-focused service, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as directed by site policies.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations to appropriate site representatives in a timely manner.
• Support access control and security-related presence at assigned posts to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
