As a Security Officer Checkpoint Specialist in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry activity, perform screening procedures, and support a professional, customer-focused experience. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with established post orders and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Verify identification, credentials, and/or shipment-related documentation for authorized access to designated areas while helping to support security-related operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
